So the second book was delivered and shiny. The Mermaid was off on her Harley. We had two wonderful launch parties, one at Quay Arts and one at Dimbola Museum and Galleries.I had hardly had time to thank all involved (thank you again!)when the world changed, became dangerous and lonely.
A time to learn, I thought, as I wandered over the fields on my hour's exercise, talking to the cattle you may have noticed on one of my pages. A time to reflect, as I picked up my pencil (I am very old)and wondered what I could write in such serious times. I concluded that I could only do what I do, tell stories, make observations and then share with anybody who might like to be in on the act. Zoom has been a godsend, but it is limited. So here we are, the Mermaid's Musings on a proper website. Never mused like that before and it has been great learning how!
Hope you enjoy it. Please tell me if you do.I will update every month and if you have anything you would like to share, ideas, events, poems, songs, just let me know!
All the best,
Stay safe.
